Oh, the humanity!

These first two pictures are of our excavator right after I sunk it.  The last one is what the hole looked like the next morning after an afternoon of dragging it though the mud.

After several hours of digging and placing several trees under the tracks, it came out with the help of a large cable and it's own boom.  Does that really count as beeing stuck?

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you were to dump your truck, and leave the tail gate hanging down, and it got caught on the trailer hitch, and you heard something bending, and didn't check it out for about 5 seconds.
These last two pictures are of one of " the families" dump trucks.  The axle drove out from under the truck as the driver attemped to back up.  It was loaded with about 22 tons of sand at the time.  With the assistance of two 20 ton jacks we were able to lift the truck and slide the axle back into place.
